Windows Vista Audio Problem need help

I have a problem with my audio using the YM chatrooms. The audio is not working, i.e. I can't hear/speak anything. This is the message I get "The Audio Compression Format is not supported with this computer."

Any help is very much appreciated.

Hi!!! This is a fix for Vista, If your using another type OS the solution is a little different. You'll have to check to see if you're up to date on the latest version of Yahoo Messenger- either 8.1.0.421 or the 9.0.0.922 Beta for this solution to work. Yep! I'm using Vista Home Premium, YM version 9.0 beta. Didn't have a problem with my XP before. I just got it fixed and I sincerely appreciate your help.
