I have about 12 blank folders that appear in the left pane of my Windows Explorer. They are totally unclickable. There are also some duplicate folders that are actually usuable but why they are there I do not know. Does anyone know how to get rid of the blank folders and why there are duplicate folders? I have attached a .jpg of what I mean.

Vista works fine

Clean installation on two machines. Both work fine.

Thanks for the reply. Too bad it is totally worthless. Vista installed fine. Something has since messed this up.

I am still having the problem.
I guess my problem is unique.
Anyone else? Huh?

I have the exact same problem, both with the unclickable files and the duplicate folders in windows explorer.

I installed a patch, which resets windows explorer in attempts to fix the problem; however, it did not work.

Here's the link to the kb tha I thought would do it: An update is available that improves the performance and reliability of Windows Vista

If anyone has experienced this and found the solution, I would be most appreciative if you would provide some insight.

Thanks!
