Hi ... What to do if you installed XP and W7 on one hard drive with each OS having its own partition afterwards found W7 not to your liken and decided to remove the OS by formatting that partition , how do you get XP to load up normanly again ? Because after formatting that partition were W7 was it has cause problems now to load xp .

it sounds likely you have deleted the boot record when you formatted

if that's the case then you will need to run the "fixboot" command in the recovery console to write a fresh boot record on the partition running your XP install ?

Yeah, I had a feeling that was the only option but I figure I would ask beforehand just incase there was an easier way , ok thanks .
