New to site, first post.
I am logged on as the administrator and my Windows dump file is locked. When I open it it's empty. When I attempt to open previous versions it says I do not have admin privileges. I attempted to download and open the Take File Ownership shortcut but I get an error when I attemp to run the program after using the merge option.
I have already made sure my dump file is set up correctly by following these instructions:
I am trying to get help with this issue:
I get random crashes when I play DDO online. The screen freezes and I have to do a manual restart. I get a Kernal error, Event ID 41.

· Is the OS an OEM version (came pre-installed on system) or full retail version (YOU purchased it from retailer)? Free copy of Win 7 for taking Microsoft cert classes
· Age of system (hardware) 8/08/09
· Age of OS installation - have you re-installed the OS? Installed December 09
· CPU- I7-950, 3.06, 8MB, BLM, D0
· Video Card Radeon HD 4850
· MotherBoard
· Power Supply - 360W Liteon (?)

- Go to Start and type in sysdm.cpl and press Enter
- Click on the Advanced tab
- Click on the Startup and Recovery Settings button
- Ensure that Automatically restart is unchecked
- Under the Write Debugging Information header select Small memory dump (256 kB) in the dropdown box
- Ensure that the Small Dump Directory is listed as %systemroot%\Minidump << where your .dmp files can be found later
- Click OK twice to exit the dialogs, then reboot for the changes to take effect.
