Windows 7 BSOD and Recovery

Hi after getting the BSOD death I tried several resolutions to address this as follows

System Restore
Recovery (without affecting files)
Full Recovery reinstalling operationing system but losing the files.

The full recovery went through ok but will not go through the start up procerss instead there was just a warning pops up saying it tried to recover from not shutting down properly. It then just reboots going through the same process. It also wont let me to the set up installation through safe mode.

I went to PC World who suggested it was a hardware issue and that it might need the motherboard replacing.

Any advice?

1. Set optimized defaults in the bios
2. Do some hardware testing from boot disks:

- Memtest86+ - Advanced Memory Diagnostic Tool 10 passes
- Link Removed - Invalid URL
