Windows 7 BSOD BCCode 7a/Random Freezes/Blackscreen etc.

It started with random freezing, then led to black screens on login, then bsod's and temporary profiles etc. I've also reformatted twice now and ended up with the same or similar problems after a few days.

See attachments for screenshots, dmp file, systeminfo etc.
*Everything.rar has all files/pics included.

at present i think your link needs aproval due to you being new to the site and its to prevent spam etc

while we wait
PLease update ALL of your current drivers

update things like your bios, graphics card etc

ensuring all the latest drivers are on your computer

make sure you have installed all microsoft updates

including service packs

Run in command promt the following command

sfc /scannow

and then....

chkdsk /r

Will do.

Right now i'm going to run the SF Diagnostic tool as well and include screens of CPUZ, only just noticed the one sticky.

Hi Flare644 and Welcome To the Forum.

Go to your C:\Windows\Minidump folder. Copy the .dmp files to a new folder on your desktop. Zip up that folder and attach directly to a post.

Download and install RamMon
Run RamMon, select the Export/Copy button. Select the Export/Copy format as HTML then Write to File. Include the saved report in a zipped file.

Download and run CPU-Z. Take screenshots/snips of the Memory tab and all the slot#'s under the SPD tab.
Go to Post Reply, click on the Go Advanced button and attach the screenshots/snips to your post for all the RAM experts to see by using the paper clip you will find on the top toolbar. Do not zip them up.

By attaching items directly to a post should speed up your "through moderation" speed. If it does get held up then there are a few Moderators at this time of day/night nd it shouldn't take too long to get your post cleared.

Added all of that as attachments.

sfc scannow did not find any integrity violations. I haven't done chkdsk because last time i did it it took hours, i think.

I also installed all windows updates available and I have what I believe to be the most recent updated drivers, or fairly close.

thanks

KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR (7a)
The requested page of kernel data could not be read in. Typically caused by
a bad block in the paging file or disk controller error. Also see
KERNEL_STACK_INPAGE_ERROR.
If the error status is 0xC000000E, 0xC000009C, 0xC000009D or 0xC0000185,
it means the disk subsystem has experienced a failure.
If the error status is 0xC000009A, then it means the request failed because
a filesystem failed to make forward progress.
Arguments:
Arg1: fffff6fc40009a20, lock type that was held (value 1,2,3, or PTE address)
Arg2: ffffffffc0000185, error status (normally i/o status code)

Arg4: fffff880013440cc, virtual address that could not be in-paged (or PTE contents if arg1 is a PTE address)

Debugging Details:

You really need to run the chkdsk /r Kaos mentioned.

Memory_Corruption is also mentioned as a probable cause. This usually indicates out of date Drivers, Bad Memory or incorrectly configured Memory Timings.

More to Follow!

How can I configure/see my memory timings. My bios doesn't really have any options to change anything, apart from boot order.

Luckily (I think) your RAM timings are OK.

Ah! one of the joys of owning a laptop, dumbed down BIOS controls!
