Windows 8 BSOD Cause by Nostkrnl.exe

I have been having a problem for a while with BSOD and i have made sure that all the hardware is working correctly and that all the drivers are up to date. Also it happens completely randomly and not after any particular process. I have uploaded my dump files so any help would be extremely appreciated!, thanks in advance - Corey

Hi Corey,
thanks for the info as it did help me find at least some info on your system. As we've seen all your dump files point to the processor as the cause. This could be because there is something wrong with the actual processor or other factors. We need to perform some tests to try and determine if it is the cpu or those other factors..
Overheating.
Please check your temperatures especially when the CPU is stressed. This app will help you monitor the temperatures.

You could of course just wait until you stress test later to monitor the temps.
The AMD chip your using won't like temps above 65c/70c so be aware and if when stress testing later it's obvious your going way past that temp then stop...

How would i do this? Also i managed to follow all of the steps from post 9 like kemical said and everything is fone only the over heating app thing is yellow but fluxuates between 14 (green) 49 (yellow)
After that i tested the ram, so un less both sticks are faulty its not that

My best advice would be to take the pc back to where you bought it and tell them that it's faulty. Let's say you reseat the processor and it's still the same... If you then take it back and they see you've been removing components they will probably say the warranty has been voided. Check through the actual warranty if you have a copy and see where you stand on replacing components.

Did you test the RAM using Memtest86? If so, how long did you run it for?

The warranty I had is no longer valid so I would request instructions for removing and reseating the processor?

Just to add that the catches may differ on your heatsink than the one shown. They mostly work in a similar fashion but if in any doubt try googling the heatsink for details. Also be aware when first breaking the seal between cpu and heatsink to be careful and make sure you twist gently.

Yes. Never reuse the stuff thats already there. There's many different makes with all sorts of claims but generally something like this will do just as good as anything ultra expensive:
