But i still cannot see my DVD drive nor can i open certain programs. I think after updating that driver (ATK0110) it caused some errors on boot up. Saw something quickly flash by about mislabeled something or other ... or miscommunicated.

Nah, ATK0110 has nothing to do at all with that. It's coincidence of the condition of your machine.

This will fix your DVD issues:

confirmed that the old software is now gone for the RIMSerial_AMD64.sys

Removed while in safe mode worked.

Here is the next dump file. Another 124 BC Code.

I am starting to think that it might be the 2D rendering aspect on my video card that is causing problems as the 3d rendering doesn't seem to have any issues. But i don't have the program to read the dump files so I shall leave it in your hands. With much thanks

The latest crash dump only shows about 10 percent of the drivers because the crash itself was so abrupt.

I would review the thread to double check that all of the software suggestion are complete (since I can not see.)

Then follow this thread about what 0x124 errors are and how to try to troubleshoot them, as closely as possible. It's the best info you can get, as the author is extremely knowledgeable:
