Windows 7 BSOD for fresh install Windows 7 during SP1

Greetings,

I've just made a new fresh install of Windows 7 - 64bits (legal version). Everything was fine, all drivers were up to date.

But, when I install updates from Windows Update, during the installation of the SP1 (when the screen is "do not turn off the computer"), the computer reboots, and it said that it occurs a BSOD !? I've seen nothing.

According to Whocrashed, it's because of BAD_POOL_HEADER, from ntoskrnl.exe (which belongs to Nvidia I think) and e1c62x64.sys (for Intel LAN)... After reboot, Windows continues slowly its updates like everything was OK... but I wonder is that SP1 & updates have been compromised (poorly done, half or what) 'cause of this BSOD? Should I reformat the computer?

Windows Update indicates that all these updates were successful... but I'm little paranoid, I worry about it: I don't want to get BSOD later because of this...

Thank you!

This appears to be a typical software driver bug and is not likely to be caused by a hardware problem. This might be a case of memory corruption. More often memory corruption happens because of software errors in certain drivers, not because of faulty RAM modules (that 3rd party nvidia driver).. if you want to check your memory here is the help page:Memory Diagnostics Tool - Windows 7 Forums hope this helps

At the time of the attached BSOD - SP1 wasn't installed

I'd also suggest (in case of a corruption in the LAN driver):
- downloading a fresh copy of the driver package for the e1c62x64.sys driver
- un-installing the current driver package for your Intel LAN software (and the e1c62x64.sys driver)
- installing the freshly downloaded copy of the driver package.

Please provide this information so we can see if there are other possible problem areas: http://windows7forums.com/blue-screen-death-bsod/38837-how-ask-help-bsod-problem.html
