Hi Guys,

Just joined this forum expecting some help regarding an irritating BSOD that I get once I boot my new HP laptop within the next 5-10 minutes.
Never happens again if I restart the laptop, as many times as i wish; But will definitely happen once I shut it down, leave for a while & boot it.

Hp has already changed the CPU, MB & RAM...no help..they also said that its because of third party softwares...so I stopped using any of them but to no avail.

I have attached the SF dx tool info in a zip file...
Bluescreen View tells me its the ntfs.sys or ntoskrnl.sys causing the problem....:-B

Any help/suggestions???
its driving me crazy........:(

Welcome.

Uninstall Norton in safe mode with the tool you can Google and find.

Reboot and install MSE to replace it.

Enjoy.

You're welcome again. That thanks is well worth it on your part, because it is thanking me for actually repairing your machine.

I'm glad to see problems solved for people, and that's why I do what I do.

Merry Christmas to you also!
