Windows 8 BSOD Kernel Data Inpage Error/ ntoskrnl.exe

Hello, I've recently been acquiring a large abundance blue screen errors that generally go by Kernel Data Inpage Error and the dump files say its probable cause is the ntoskrnl.exe. I'm not really computer smart so I am unsure what any of that means. But I'll try and answer some probable questions.

I already did a clean install of windows a few days ago since I don't put a lot of stuff on my laptop just office and the occasional steam game. Sadly the problem still persisted through that.
I've done scans of the ram and hard drive and they always turn up successful with no problems. And I'm certain I don't have any viruses.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Hi,
most of the dump files posted were similar to the above. The above Bugcheck means data originating in the hard drive failed to be read due to a bad block or sector on the HDD or storage controller issues probably stemming from drivers.
When you re-installed Windows did re-apply system drivers? Laptop drivers always come from the lappies manufacturer and I'm pretty sure your support page is here:
http://support.lenovo.com/gb/en/pro...pad-twist-series-laptops/thinkpad-twist-s230u

Pay particular attention to any drivers related to storage such Intel's Rapid storage driver. I can see from the dates of the existing drivers that some if not all are in need of updating.

If you find that after updating the drivers the issue still persists then find do a search for command prompt, right click on it and run as administrator. Type:
chkdsk /f /r
Press enter. You may have to reboot. This scan will check for and try to fix any bad sectors on the HDD.
This guide although for vista and 7 is pretty much still the same for win 8:
http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/guide-to-using-check-disk-in-windows-vista/

Post any new dump files.

I believe I updated the drivers or there was no driver updates available for it at least to my knowledge and I ran a chkdsk but I sadly still got more errors. Any more ideas?

Post any new dump files.

Alright I went through and did all the updates you had listed. So I will wait and see if the problem persist.

When I ran the chkdsk it just said scanning and repairing drive at 11 percent for about a hour and twenty minutes then it skipped to 100% and loaded to desktop.

My apologies for butting in, but now you need to actually check the results of the ChkDsk that you've performed.
Open Event Viewer->Windows Logs->Application
Click "Action" from the menu bar and then click "Find"
Type
chkdsk
and click "Find Next".
Examine the results paying particular attention near the bottom for any KB(s) in bad clusters (sectors).

Thanks I went through it and only a few errors turned up and it said they where all repaired fine.

Ok... cool. See how you go with the new updates and post any new dump files.

The above means a critical process died and I notice you've updated some drivers and not others. Out of all of the updates listed the storage driver could be related to your issue so it's important it's updated.

Did you update this driver too? I can't seem to find it now

Also can you answer my question concerning Diskeeper please. I'll repeat what I wrote above that certain editions are not compatible with Windows 8/8.1 and it could be this that's causing the issue?

I have no idea what that is or where to look for it sorry.
And for the above updates I am 95% sure I did the ones you listed

Diskeeper you will find, or should find, in Add and remove programs. If you don't use it then personally I'd remove it.

As for the drivers, I can only tell you what the dump file tells me. I'll list the actual download link for the specific driver:

I didn't find anything called diskeeper. And has for those updates I am now 100% sure I installed them. And here's a new dumpfile which is probably just more of the same stuff.

Any other ideas?

This driver is still not updated. I checked the actual download in case it was giving you a 2012 driver but no.New Driver is version 11.7.3.1001 dated 2014 so cannot have been updated or you chose the wrong download. The link below is correct for the version I just specified.

Try doing a search for diskeeper.

Why not try it again? Use the link i gave above though as it's a slightly later driver.

Try the last link I posted but this time right click on the driver, choose properties and then run as admin.

Did you uninstall the driver first?
Also looking through the complete set of updates for your system I noticed there were several system updates for Windows 8/8.1 have you applied these too?
