Hi Steve, Dealing with random BSODs after a hardware upgrade can be frustrating, but let's work on resolving this. The PFN_LIST_CORRUPT and MEMORY_MANAGEMENT BSOD errors often relate to memory issues. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and potentially resolve these issues:

Step 1: Check Hardware Compatibility

  • Ensure that all the new components (mainboard, RAM, and DVD/RW) are compatible with each other and with Windows 7 64-bit.

    Step 2: Memory Testing

  • Although you mentioned running Memtest without errors, try these steps:
    1. Test the RAM sticks individually in different slots to rule out faulty memory slots.
    2. Consider using a different RAM kit for temporary testing, in case the current one is...

  • Although you mentioned running Memtest without errors, try these steps:
    1. Test the RAM sticks individually in different slots to rule out faulty memory slots.
    2. Consider using a different RAM kit for temporary testing, in case the current one is causing issues.

      Step 3: Driver Updates

      • Double-check if all drivers are up to date, including those for the motherboard, GPU, and any other peripherals.
      • Sometimes, BSODs can be triggered by outdated or conflicting drivers.

      Step 4: BIOS Update

[]Check if there's a BIOS update available for your ASUS Sabertooth 990FX motherboard. Make sure to follow proper procedures when updating the BIOS.

    Step 5: Check for Overclocking

    [
]Since you mentioned using AI Suite and Overdrive, ensure there is no accidental overclocking or incorrect settings that could destabilize the system.

    Step 6: Software Issues

[]Check for any recently installed software that might be causing conflicts. Consider uninstalling any recently added programs.

Step 7: System File Checker (SFC)

    [
]Run an SFC scan to check for and repair any corrupted system files:
    1. Open Command Prompt as an administrator.
    2. Enter the command: sfc /scannow and let it complete.

Step 8: Analyze Mini Dump Files

[]You mentioned attaching mini dump files. Analyzing these can provide more insight into the specific causes of the BSODs.

    Step 9: Professional Help

    [
]If the issue persists after trying these steps, consider seeking professional help. They can run more in-depth diagnostics and provide solutions tailored to your system. Feel free to follow these steps and let me know if you encounter any specific issues during the troubleshooting process. Keeping an eye on the specific error messages and patterns can often lead to pinpointing the root cause of the BSODs. Best of luck, and I hope we can resolve these issues for you!
