Windows 7 BSoD when using Traktor DJ software when an external Traktor soundcard is plugged in

Hey all techperts,

Recently got a new Acer Aspire V3-571G running Intel Core i5-2450M ~3.1GHz, 8GB ram, 2GB nVidia GT640M graphics, Windows 7 OS, 64-bit OS, and I was having troubles running a DJ software called Traktor with an external Traktor soundcard plugged in running at the same time. Whenever drop-outs were detected, the BSoD would occur. The bluescreen has not been occurring although drop-outs were detected in the past day. I haven't fully tweaking my laptop for audio processing, but I would like to get rid of the bluescreen.

Antivirus is McAfee, which will expire soon.
Also downloaded BlueScreenView, if that helps.

Seems like ta10usb.sys is the culprit, I noticed there are different version of the driver loaded in the minidumps:

fffff880`07979000 fffff880`07992000 ta10usb Thu Sep 15 17:18:54 2011 (4E72175E)

fffff880`0619a000 fffff880`061b3000 ta10usb Wed Feb 22 13:44:31 2012 (4F44E32F)


You might want to check Native Instruments homepage to see if there's a newer version available.

Seems like ta10usb.sys is the culprit, I noticed there are different version of the driver loaded in the minidumps:

fffff880`07979000 fffff880`07992000 ta10usb Thu Sep 15 17:18:54 2011 (4E72175E)

fffff880`0619a000 fffff880`061b3000 ta10usb Wed Feb 22 13:44:31 2012 (4F44E32F)


You might want to check Native Instruments homepage to see if there's a newer version available.

Yea, that's cos I was alternatively trying v3.0.2 and v3.0.3 . v3.0.2 seems to be the better one out of the try-outs. But the updates in v3.0.3 are:

• ASIO driver and Control Panel are now code-signed
  
• Now uses Windows Multimedia Class Scheduler in ASIO driver
  
• Fixed an issue which caused the audio driver to lock up in panic mode
  
• WHQL-certified

However, I've been tuning my laptop for audio processing. Seems to be improving. Only 1 crash yesterday, and a random one when I opened the laptop from sleep mode today. Im following these sites:

When other Traktor DJ users experience drop-outs, either USB I/O errors or/and Buffer underruns, they don't experience any bluescreen, while I do. Yes you can change the settings within the Traktor software or the soundcard's control panel (sample rate, process buffer, USB buffer) so that less load is put on the CPU, but resulting in lag.
I'll use v3.0.2 for a day or two more, then I'll switch to v3.0.3 again.
Man, just two programs can make my laptop look tedious, ay?
