    ]Restart Skype and Computer:
    • Close Skype completely and restart your computer. Then launch Skype again and test the webcam functionality.
    []Reinstall Skype:
    • If the issue persists, try reinstalling Skype. Uninstall it completely, download the latest version from the official website, and reinstall it.

    ]Run Windows Troubleshooter:
    • Use the built-in Windows troubleshooter for hardware devices. It might help identify and fix driver-related issues.
  2. Contact Skype Support:
    • If none of the above steps work, consider reaching out to Skype support for further assistance. They may have specific recommendations for your HP laptop. By following these steps, you should be able to troubleshoot the webcam issue on Skype and ensure that your contacts can see you during video calls.
