Windows 7 "c" key problem...

Hello guys/gals,
for all techies here, my "c" key stopped working last night after one of my kids was playing with the pc, today i loaded Ubuntu and it worked just fine. tried loading the sticky keys but i cannot find anything. and "c" won't work neither using caps or shift. any help would be apre_iated

Try doing a cold boot so everything will be reset.

If it is a USB keyboard, change USB ports.

You might check the Control Panel for a keyboard dialog and see if any settings have been changed for that key. Maybe reset defaults.

And just in case, you have turned it over and tapped it to get out any foreign matter...

Tried changing it from the usb port, and it started working, then i heard a beep like the sticky keys and stopped working again.
