Windows 7 Cannot update windows 7 64-bit

Hello everyone,
Today i bought windows 7 (64-bit) and after the installation the system began to update the software. After several updates i realized that two "important" updates couldn't be installed. I restarted my computer but nothing changed. I need some help from someone who might have faced the same problem.
The 2 updates are the following:
1.SECURITY UPDATE FOR WINDOWS 7 x64 SYSTEMS(KB972270)
2.UPDATES FOR WINDOWS 7 FOR SYSTEMS BASED IN x64(KB974431)

i have same issue since yesterday so if any solution

i found a solution, rather painful if you consider that you must reinstall windows 7 with all the consequences especially if you have already installed other programmes as well. But everything is fine now and my operating system is up to date!!! Try it.

thanks i did re-install window 7 again as i was installing to new computer so did not have any programess -- thanks
