I'm trying to user WebDrive on Windows 7 RC Bulid 7100 and i'm getting the following error when trying to connect to an FTP connection.

Code:
Can't map network drive: (1204) The specified network provider name is invalid.

WebDrive is a well know program that maps FTP connections as if they were removable drives. It works fine on Vista.

Any ideas?

Newer versions might have fixes and improvements that address compatibility issues with older operating systems like Windows 7 RC. 5. Check Firewall and Antivirus: Make sure that your firewall or antivirus software is not blocking the connection to the FTP server. Temporarily disable them to see if they are causing the issue. 6. Verify FTP Connection Details: Double-check the FTP connection details in WebDrive to ensure that they are correct. This includes the server address, username, password, and any other relevant information. 7. Contact WebDrive Support: If the issue persists after trying the above steps, you may want to reach out to WebDrive support for further assistance. It's worth noting that Windows 7 RC Build 7100 is a pre-release version, so it may have compatibility issues with certain software. Considering upgrading to a stable and supported version of Windows for better compatibility and security. Give these suggestions a try and see if they help resolve the error you are experiencing with WebDrive on Windows 7 RC Build 7100.
