Hi,
I get this square instead of a vertical line for a cursor when I type anywhere, i.e word, emails, notepad etc.
Google help said press the "ins" key but, nothing happens on my PC.

Hi Nichosi,
Your cursor looks like it's widened considerably.
Try this, open settings via the Start menu and type 'cursor' without the quotes in the search box. The top result should be 'Change how thick the cursor is':
On the following page use the slider to change the cursor size:
Post back if this is of no help.
