Computer freezes, hardware issue?

For a while now my computer has been freezing up, quite odd freezes as well. I can move my mouse, and interact with some objects, but i cant do things such as open folders/files/start menu. If i have a browser open, i can still scroll on the page, but if i click on anything it wont load. its like whatever is currently loaded is ok, but whatever my computer needs to load wont open. Sometimes there are two mouse pointers on my screen as well, but i can only control one. There are no logs in the task manager either. this usually happens 1-2 times a day for 30-60 seconds, nothing causes it.

I also noticed the fans on my GPU are almost never on, idk why that is.
I was thinking it was my SSD that was going bad, but i did the tests on it and it says there are no problems with it, so that wont explain why it cant load.
Im not too aware of how power supply's act when they are dying, could it be that?
I dont think its my GPU, but some of the more recent wackiness is happening is making me doubt that.
Occasionally my desktop background just turns white. also today both my displays just turned off, no warning, and i had to restart my PC, and all is working good.
Yesterday i shut down my PC, but a few minutes later it wasn't shut down, the main monitor was off, and stuff, but my side monitor was black except for the task manager window?!

Can you open a adim command prompt and run sfc /scannow and on completing that run dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth hopefully you just have corrupted system files and they should sort that out. If not we'll look at other remedies we can try.

I was going to make a new thread about this next issue, but it may pertain to your "corrupted system files" thought. I was trying to test individual components of my computer, and I tried to run the Windows Memory Diagnostics. Upon restarting i get an Error message:

Ive been having issues with my computer for 3-4 months now with this. and it seems every few weeks it freezes up differently.
A few months ago the display would just turn black.
A few weeks ago it would have beeping sounds when it froze, and nothing could move.
Now it freezes and i can move the mouse, the keyboard scroll lock/num lights can be toggled on the keyboard, but i cant interact with anything.
So its like every time it freezes its slightly different.

Im at a complete loss for explanation here.
 
Can you grab hwinfo64 and monitor temps, lets see if this is as simple as a heat issue.

As for the monitor temps, I dont think it has anything to do with this. I have two different monitors, one newer one and one somewhat older one. They both freeze at the same time, not individually, so it leads me to believe it has nothing to do with it.
 
In hwinfo click on sensors. It'll give you lots to look through. Check the temps it reports.
 
I've been thinking, we should check that ssd out. From an admin cmd prompt, can you do a chkdsk /F this will check the drive for errors and attempt to fix any it finds. It may take a while and it being your system drive will require a reboot.

I have already done that. I’ve tested my SSD and it says it’s fine, no bad blocks or anything... I had simmilar problems when I had a HDD, do you think maybe it’s the cables?

I have been looking around some more in the event viewer. Multiple times a day I am getting error: Event ID: 10016. This is happening a few minutes before my freezes sometimes, but its not logged at the same time as my freezes. there is a different forum here saying that this error is freezing his computer, could this possibly be some sort of issue? I have thousands of these 10016 errors in my logs, multiple multiple daily. Thanks for all your help so far nmsuk. This has been a major issue for me, and I just wish I had the answers.
 
Can I see the whole output from event viewer for those errors?

I already tried to solve this issue, i used some online forums to help. Windows 10 Event 10016 Fix: The application-specific permission settings do not grant Local Activation permission for the COM Server application with CLSID {D63B10C5-BB46-4990-A94F-E40B9D520160} and APPID {9CA88EE3-ACB7-47C8-AFC4-AB702511C276} to the user NT AUTHORITY\LOCAL SERVICE SID (S-1-5-19) from address LocalHost (Using LRPC) running in the application container Unavailable SID (Unavailable). This security permission can be modified using the Component Services administrative tool.I a
But I get errors when I try to complete these steps.

after setting the reg entries reboot before doing the other steps.
Upon restarting the issue is still the same. I get an error : Screenshot and the add button is grayed out. I also have two runtime brokers located in my DCOM config, which investigating online is common for some reason. I could not find any remedy that worked online for the grayed button...

I'm worried that even if i fix this error, it may not even be the thing causing my freezes... I wish I knew more about the advanced side of computers...
