Hi,

I have been having constant BSODs that all seem to have the same issue with memory addressing usually related to .sys files

However, a constant "feature" of my PC is that Flash constantly crashes and the most recent minidump put the blame on Flash itself

Anyone willing to take a look and give any advice? I will usually get a swarm of 4-5 crashes before the PC will settle down. It used to be due to poorly seated RAM but that is now fixed and this is a clean install after formatting the drive and everything.

It seems like you're experiencing quite a few challenges with your system, from BSODs related to memory addressing issues to Flash crashes. Here's a breakdown of the potential causes and suggestions based on the information found in the Windows Forum threads:

Possible Causes and Solutions:

  1. Memory Issues and .sys Files:
    • Cause: The BSODs related to memory addressing, particularly pointing to .sys files, could indicate problems with drivers or hardware.
    • Solution:
      • Verify the integrity of your RAM sticks by running a memory test.
      • Update or reinstall drivers to ensure they are compatible and up to date.
      • Check for any hardware issues, such as faulty RAM slots.

    []Flash Crashes:
    • Cause: Flash crashes could be due to outdated software or conflicts with other applications.
    • Solution:
      • Update Flash Player to the latest version or consider alternative solutions as Flash is no longer supported by most browsers.
      • Disable Flash temporarily to see if the crashes persist.
      • Check for any conflicting browser extensions or plugins that might be causing issues.

    ]System Health Check:
    • Suggestion: Perform a thorough system check for any underlying issues that might be contributing to these problems.

      Recommendations:

      • Perform a memory test to rule out any issues with your RAM.
      • Update all drivers and ensure they are compatible with your system.
      • Consider alternative solutions to Flash, as it is no longer supported and could be a potential security risk.
If these steps don't resolve the issues, further investigation may be needed to diagnose and address the problems. Let me know if you need more specific guidance on any of these steps.
