Greetings-
I purchased a new HP dv6 laptop and discovered the desktop positioning problem that was discussed prior. (The inability to reposition ie-center, tile etc. a picture when used as the desktop background) I found, downloaded and installed the patch referred to in the earlier post (sp45575). I worked great, pictures look good etc........for the "administrator" account. Unfortunately, The second account I have on the computer still has the problem. I can't figure out why the patch works for one account and not the other....................Any ideas on how I can get the patch fix to work for both accounts????? Any and all help is greatly appreciated.....

Just a guess but try running the patch with administrator privileges in your other account.

That would be my guess.

The patch may be a per user registry change.
I went looking for the file, but can't find it.
