Windows 7 desktop graphics problem

i upgraded to 32-bit windows 7 a week or two ago, and frequently my desktop gets grainy and pixelated after i minimize/maximize a window, usually firefox. it says my graphics driver is the most up to date version, so i'm not sure what else it would be. anyone else with this problem?

can anyone help with what this might be or how i might fix it?

Hi, if you 'upgraded' then try a clean install as many users are reporting problems after upgrading...
