Windows 7 desperate with windows 7

Hi,I have an old cumputer:

P4 3,4 ghz(northwood) in a asus p4c800-e deluxe.

4gb ram,and skystar 2 satellite card,pctv 310i tdt tv card.A his 4670 agp.2 ide hdd one sata hdd and a dvd rewriter and other dvd reader.

Windows xp works perfect,ram is chekederfect.I take outside all componentes,and take out all hdd.So hardware is tested and work fine.

My problem with windows 7 is simple.It's freeze randomly.At star up,at hours,or not freeze.Inclusive with a new windows 7 installation.So is practically unusable.And windows 7 compatibility program returns is o.k.I installed it in ide,sata and freeze.

I am completely desperate.If anyone has any ideas would greatly appreciate it.

How big is your hard drive? Do you have a registry cleaning program? Have you ran checkdisk? Do you get any STOP errors?
