Windows 7 drive not accessible

Hi, I can't access my external hard drive on my computer but I can from my laptop I get the message the drive is not accessible, 'access is denied'. I was able to until recently, I use it for my backup. Any suggestions?

Does the drive show in Disk Management? Does it say anything there down where the bars are shown? What make and model of drive is it? It might be a sharing/permission thing. Are both desktop and laptop Windows 7?
