Hi all

I have VM Cable and I am dual booting Vista Ultimate SP2 and Windows 7 RCM. Over the last two days my internet access has stopped in Win 7 but when I switch back to Vista everything is working! I also have a wireless router and just now with Win 7 telling me that there is no connection I was able to connect perfectly on another machine.

I am using IE7 in Vista and IE8 in Win 7.

Can someone please explain this conundrum?

Try using windows update. If not then go to your computers manufactuer website and locate drivers for your pc. Install the vista drivers with the correct bit version (32 or 64). Vista drivers work fine with 7. So this should fix it.

Try using windows update.
Already done that.

And that.

Perhaps I was unclear... This is all 32bit. When I start Windows 7 the comms work OK BUT after some time it slows right down and stops!

Anyone have any other suggestions?

Oh yeahr Have switched Cable Modem off and waited etc....
