Windows 7 Easy Transfer - problem with email

I just went through the export from Windows XP using the Windows 7 easy transfer program. After scanning the XP system it displays the components and allows you to accept or decline the transfer. I don't see email anywhere on the lists. Email is the primary thing I want to transfer. I use outlook Express email on the XP system and tentatively plan to use live mail on Win 7. The EASY TRANSFER FAQ clearly states it will transfer email settings, contacts and messages.

I have not yet done the import on the Win 7 system, I assume that since there is nothing about email in the options list, that email was not exported.

Ed,

Don't quote me on this, but look for a folder named Locals Folders and copy it to a flashdrive, then look for the Local Folders on the Win 7 machine and replace them.

As I said, wait for some more feedback before attempting this.

Wait a moment, I'm sorry I thiught you were talking about transferring to Windows 7 Mail

Forget that suggestion completely.

Windows 7 doesn't come with mail - what they suggest you download is live mail.

You can however make Windows mail 7 run on Windows 7 with the right registry tricks and file substitutions.

Just my opinion.
