Well I've successfully installed 32Bit Windows 7 on my Compaq computer. Now when i go to install it on my custom computer that already has windows XP home on it i get the following error:

Windows has encountered problem communicating with device connecting to your computer.
Status: 0xc00000e9
Info: An unexpected I/O error has occurred.

Here are the computer specs:
Asus PQ5L Mobo
Processor: Core 2 Duo E700
Sony DVD/RW Sata Drive
Seagate Harddrive
Nvidia 9800GT Super Clocked ED.

This is what i've done to try to fix the issue myself.

Friend told me take IDE Drive from Compaq and put it in Custom built and try to load it. Well i did that and the error goes away. Only problem is it takes 15 minutes to get to selection screen of what language you want thenn once you pick it it just loads non stop. Now my friend is saying Sata Drives are a pain sometimes with installing windows.

So now what do i do? Should i try 64bit instead of 32bit? Any suggestions please thanks.
