Windows 7 Error with programs not there

I get an error message during the update process. It says that two programs have to be uninstalled but they are not in the control panel program list. Have run the vista search function and the programs do not appear either. Any ideas?

Not sure how to do that but the programs are, "Perfect Disk" and "Nero- burning". Does this help?

Check your program files and see if the folders still remain. I have had several times with Vista found that even after unistalling programs that the files still remained and had to to go in and delete them. Not sure if that is the problem but worth checking out. I haven't had any such problems with Win7.

Pease do not upgarde do a "clean" insatll.

An upgrade leaves usekess files on you system ansd can cause sconflits.
