Well, so do you think that Apple is becoming Evil, or already is evil?

They're just being asses, IMO. There's no need for them to push all their Apple products on people that only want to use one. I download iTunes for my Touch, and I get Quicktime. I don't use, nor want Quicktime, yet they give it to me anyways. Now they want to give me Safari too? F*** that.

If Microsoft started pushing IE (if they started making mac versions of IE again) via office updater, I'm sure they would be getting anti-trust cases again. Wonder if any of this will get Apple in trouble.

So, since Apple updater installs with iTunes, and you need iTunes to sync an iPod, and Apple has sold 60+ million iPods, I would say it's just the same as what Microsoft did years ago with IE, using their mp3 player monopoly to get into the web browser business, just like Microsoft did years ago.

Lol? What's wrong with it? It's just like Microsoft's EULA.
If any of you actually read what it said - the EULA has shit written about collecting information about peripherals etc. but they collect the information, but does not identify you.

How about this DRM from Apple about pairing iPods with Nike+ shoes? http://gizmodo.com/5050456/apple-patents-drm-for-pairing-only-official-nike-shoes-with-nike%252B-sensor :p

You do know that on Apple's site you do have an option to just download iTunes with or without Quicktime, right? I agree with you about Safari, i'm a Firefox user, i don't even use Safari on my Snow leopard partition, but quicktime is much nicer on my Mac than on Windows for sure :D
