  • Thread Author
Hello Windows Insiders, Today we're excited to announce the release of Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 25352, which is now available to the Canary Channel.

A sleek monitor displays Windows 11 with a wireless keyboard in low ambient light.
Branch Update:

Starting with this build, Windows Insiders will notice that the branch name on the desktop watermark has changed to ZN_RELEASE. This move is similar to previous branch changes, where we may switch branches based on development cycles’ priorities. It’s important to note that these builds should not be viewed as tied to any specific upcoming Windows 11 release.

Important Reminder:

As these builds are released "hot off the presses," documentation will be limited,
especially for the Canary Channel. We won't publish blog posts for each flight unless new features are introduced.

Changes and Improvements:

Widgets:
  • We're rolling out a new widget picker experience for Insiders in the Canary and Dev Channels. This update includes visual previews of widgets before pinning, direct deep linking from the provider app/service, and a link to the widget Store collection page, where more widgets can be discovered.

For Developers:

You can download the latest Windows Insider SDK from Download Windows Insider Preview SDK. SDK NuGet packages are also available at https://www.nuget.org/profiles/Microsoft. The available packages include:
  • .NET TFM packages
    for use in .NET apps
  • C++ packages for Win32 headers and libs by architecture
  • BuildTools package for tools like MakeAppx.exe, MakePri.exe, and SignTool.exe These packages provide more granular access to the SDK and better integration in CI/CD pipelines. SDK flights are available for both the Canary and Dev Channels.

About the Canary Channel:

The Canary Channel previews platform changes that require a longer lead time before being released to customers. These changes may include updates to the Windows kernel or new APIs. Important Points:
