Steam is crap.
Whatever happened to installing a game and just being able to connect to servers and play it?

Valve has released the non-beta version of the New Steam Client. As part of the completely redesigned interface there are a large number of changes, including more prominent community functionality, new ways of viewing your games library and more information about your games, and a range of other improvements and fixes. To obtain the update run Steam then select 'Check for steam client updates' under the File menu.
