Windows 7 Extra Icons in Games Folder

Since upgrading from Vista to Windows 7 I've got a problem with games folder, namely over 500 icons with no name, that I can't click on or right click and delete. anybody have any ideas how I might get rid of them?

I've attached a screenshot of the folder to illustrate what I mean
