Hi Guys, hope you can help me with this problem.
Due to a NTFS hickup, a folder (1,3TB) ended wrongly up inside the system volume information (win7) folder. Wanted to move it back to it's root, but to no avail...
Tried take ownership, cacls, safe mode, tools etc.
Need to to really move it, because the 2TB disc had no room to do a copy. It's really a FAT/NTFS table issue.
Has anyone any ideas on this?

I have Ubuntu loaded on a bootable Flash Drive. I can boot to it and mount the Windows 7 drive and open the System Volume Info folder.
I do not know if you will be able to manipulate any folders inside by doing this.

Thanks for the great tip! Got the latest Ubuntu distro, but couldn't get it work to generate a USB bootable pendrive. (Graphics) Went back to an older Ubuntu 9.0.4 LiveCD version and after carefully moving (cut/paste) 1 directory and checking it under Win7 I was able to move that 1,3TB directory without any risk.
Saves me a lot of time in order to move it to an other disk and move it back again to it's original location.
