Hallo! I need help! I have to turn my windows 10 account back to administrator user while I accidentally changed it to standard user. However ! I have tried all the advices that I found on the internet, including YouTube videos, forums, troubleshootings and everything .... It just doesn’t let me change anything !
I can’t open “Manage another account”, neither I can rely on “cmd - net user administrator /active:yes” command, neither on “Family & other users” idea about a new account.... Nothing! Everything tells me that I need an administrator access to do the task and there is no “YES” answer as a choice when they ask me whether I want to make the change.... Please, help... 😭😭😭

Solution
You'll need to reactive the builtin administrator account. You'll need to use a tool like the NT offline password tool either standalone or part of the hiren boot disc
