Hello everyone,

I have multiple problems which occur on daily basis. Here's the list:
  1. PC is freezing while browsing or playing games;
  2. Monitor is going black while PC turned on and active while playing some games;
  3. PC not waking up after sleep;
  4. PC restarts while being idle;
  5. BSODs mostly when playing but sometimes completely randomly (last two of them were IRQL NOT LESS OR EQUAL and MEMORY MANAGEMENT)
I've tried many things from reinstalling Windows to updating drivers but nothing helped.

I would appreciate any help on this topic because it's ruining my day completely.

Solution
I have an answer to this.
If your pc freezing this might be with outdated drivers.
If your pc goes black:
1. To work temporarely restart your computer by pressing the button
2.This could be your video cable
3. How i fixed mine:
Replaced HDMI with DP cables.
If your pc doesnt wake up after sleep try pressing the power on button on your pc.
pc restarts? This should be a virus shutdown. OR You set something in settings. May fix if you factory reset your pc, BUT MAY FIX IT.
Bsod:
1. irql not less or equal is something with drivers i fixed it by reinstalling drivers if doesnt work then reinstall windows clean.
memory management This is bad.Run cmdas administrator and running this command:
1. cd..
2. cd..
3. chkdsk.exe /f /r
And Backup...
Of course post back if all doesn't go well.. I'll keep my fingers crossed.. :)
Ok so I've reduced Clock Speed Frequency by 20% and had no issues while playing Starcraft 2. Then I just restarted PC and on startup got bsod
SYSTEM SERVICE EXCEPTION (win32kfull.sys) and after the restart I got MEMORY MANAGEMENT bsod. Restart and here I am writing this post :)

Update:
got multiple consecutive BSODs including PAGE FAULT IN NONPAGED AREA (FLTMGR.SYS) and Recovery screen (error code: 0xc000025). Yeah :/

I moved your thread to the correct section.

Can you post the dump files please. (try the app from the thread sticky).

If you have no dump files make sure your system is set up to create them:

Open the run application.
Type sysdm.cpl in the run box and click ok.
Look across the top of the system properties box for 'Advanced' and click that.
Look for 'Startup and Recovery' near the bottom and click 'settings'.
Near the bottom you'll see a drop down menu under the heading 'write debugging information'.
In the drop down menu choose ' small memory dump (256KB)'
Under 'small dump directory' make sure it says %SystemRoot%\Minidump.
Click ok and your good to go.

Having no page file will also stop dump file creation.

A couple of dump files were memory related.

Check your memory is ok by running Memtest86.

This page has the download as well as instructions on how to use it. You will need to burn it to either disk or usb:
MemTest86 - Download now!

I've already run MemTest86 with USB for hours and no issues were found. Does it make sense to run that test again?

You have?

Well 12hrs is the usual length of time and even so sometimes memtest does't always catch it.

Maybe your better off removing the ram so only one dimm sits in a slot. Run the system and see if issues continue, if they do swap sticks and repeat. See if there's a stick which runs ok.

This bsod just stated happening out of the blue right? You dodn't change anything at all?

What are you using for your main drive? SSD or HDD

I didn't change anything I believe, I had that BSOD before, many times :) I've tried removing RAM one by one but had the issue. Maybe I'll try black sticks instead of red. But thing is that I don't always encounter BSODs they only appear sometimes but after reboot usually get consecutive BSODs (MEMORY MANAGEMENT is usually second in row). I have SSD, I ran it's test too :)

Hmm... I'm just about to nip out to the shops let me have a think whilst i walk down there and i'll post back, hopefully, with some ideas.. (hour or so)

I just had SYSTEM SERVICE EXCEPTION just while browsing, I've checked %SystemRoot%\Minidump and there was no minidump created today. IN just minutes I had IRQL NOT LESS OR EQUAL and then while monitor was black had 2 beeps and 4 beeps then PC restarted...

Ok i'm just about to go I took a quick look and if you have the browser, Chrome, running, try removing as a test. I've seen this before and could be a similar thing.
Be right back...

Hello from Microsoft Edge :)

I've uninstalled chrome and after few minutes got multiple consecutive BSODs:
SYSTEM SERVICE EXCEPTION
SYSTEM THREAD EXCEPTION NOT HANDLED (Ntfs.sys)
PAGE FAULT IN NONPAGED AREA
ATTEMPTED EXECUE OF NONEXECUTE MEMORY (yay new one!)
DRIVER OVERRAN STACK BUFFER (This one too!)
Recovery (0xc0000225)
KERNEL SECURITY CHECK FAILURE

Now I'm logged on. Attaching minidumps.

Should I try changing RAM slots from reds to blacks at this point or it may mislead our investigation? :)

Your RAM by the way, are you running the XMP profile on them? You do this via the bios as most ram defaults to 1600Mhz or similar.

If you are running the xmp profile try turning it off, if your not then try turning it on.

Pagefile - These can become corrupt, try turning the page file off, reboot then re-enable.

Post back if your unsure how..

You mean selecting no paging file in virtual memory right? I've done that before PC reset, will do it again.
XMP was disabled and I chose Profile1.
What's next? :)
