Hello,

I have tried searching through the forums to see if anyone else has had this error but I have not found another thread similar to this so I thought I would post about it here.

I recently took advantage of the Christmas/New Year sales and bought myself several games including Civilization V and Battlefield 3. While the other games I have purchased all work fine Civ V and BF3 have an error which I believe is due to them running in Direct x10/11

Here is my system information and graphics card info from a fresh dxdiag I just preformed.

And here are the screen shots showing the error. I apologise that these had to be taken with my cellphone as using print screen did not display the errors.

BF3 title screen running at 1920x1080 resolution.

As can be seen the screen resolution has been changed so that it does not fit inside of the monitor itself.

This is another picture showing the error.

And an edited version.

Following on this is how Civ V looks in 1920x1080 resolution in Direct x10/11 version.

And the video display page here.

In addition to these here is a picture of Eve Online's Sisi client which also has the error. This error has only appeared as of the latest build on the test server.

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated as I have found no answers from google searches related to this problem.

So basically you are seeing the mouse pointer in the game overlay correct? I suggest trying use ALT-ENTER to window the game and then again to fullscreen it and see if that fixes the glitch.
