Windows 7 HDD led light on laptop keeps blinking all the time please help.

i think this started happen after i insert a disc few days ago but i have taken it out tho but it still keeps happening. i also ran a full scan of my computer but that didn't find anything.. please help me. thank you

A full scan with what? Look at the CPU and disk tabs of the Performane Monitor, to see if you can find precisely what process is the cause of the activity.
