Windows 7 Headset not detected?

Heyho Guys... I just de-installed my XP-Professional and now I'm on Vista - But the system just doesn't want to detect my Headset... The microphone of my headset gets detected, just not the sound...

Any help?

Have you tried increasing the volume? Look under sound properties, see if it's either turned off or the level needs raising.. If you look at the screenshot you'll see the sliders (I know your using vista but it should be pretty similar)

hmm... it was the headset... i bought a new one... it was kinda not working anymore^^ thanks anyways^^
