Windows 8 Help! Printer not working after installing Windows 8.1!

Hello,
I just installed Windows 8.1. I have an HP Envy 4502 for a printer. There seems to be some connection issue between my laptop and my printer ever since I downloaded this update. I use my printer quite often and am pretty frustrated that it is not working properly. Please help!

Hi Samantha,
I'm not sure if this is exactly your printer but take a look and if it is try downloading and installing the drivers:

After the initial 8.1 upgrade (which is like a clean install) for most of us, we have to reinstall all are peripherals driver/software packages this also includes some apps from the MS store you may have downloaded. In your case it's your printer. While some such as yourself and others experience this phenomenon others don't.
