Windows 7 Hotmail freezes up

I installed Windows 7 32 bit and Office 2010 last week and since then I cannot get into my Hotmail account. The window opens but the minute I try to open an email or do anything, the window freezes and I have a hard time closing it.
I need my hotmail account. I have other accounts (yahoo, etc.. - but not gmail) and I have no problems.

Try uninstalling hotmail and then reinstall it, the account.
