Hello,

My name is Jeroen and i'm new on this forum. I found this forum because i was searching for how to copy the administrator profile to the default user profile.

Under XP or Vista i did a right click om My computer - properties - advanced - profiles.

Under Winows 7 the buttom copy to, is greyed out. Understandable i logged on to a different account. Has any of you an idea how to solve this problem.

Thanks and kind regards

Jeroen

Hello Jeroen, Welcome to the forum! I can help you with transferring the administrator profile to the default user profile on Windows 7. Since the "Copy to" button is grayed out when you are logged in with a different account, you need to use a different method. Here's a step-by-step guide to achieve this: 1. Login with Administrator Rights: - Ensure you are logged in with an account that has Administrator rights. 2. Use System Properties: - Press Windows Key + R to open the Run dialog. - Type sysdm.cpl and press Enter to open System Properties. 3. Access User Profiles: - In the System Properties window, go to the "Advanced" tab. - Click on the "Settings" button in the User Profiles section. 4. Copy...

Copy Profile: - Click OK to copy the Administrator profile to the Default profile. By following these steps, you should be able to copy the Administrator profile to the Default user profile on Windows 7 successfully.
