How do I disable my in build keyboard on my laptop I have tried disabling my keyboard on my Lenovo laptop since it doesnt work properly. I have tried disabling the automatic updates through sysdm.cpl, changing the group policies through gpedit.msc and selecting a wrong driver for my keyboard in Device Manager, but the keyboard keeps installing on every reboot. What can I do? Thanks in advance

Many laptops will have a function hotkey to disable it or you can look in the firmware to see if there is an option. Every manufacturer will be slightly different if the ability is available.

you can follow the below instruction.
  • Head into your Start Menu, and type in Device Manager.
  • Open up the Device Manager and find your way to Keyboards and hit the arrow to the left of it.
  • Here you will be able to find your laptop's keyboard. Right click on it and hit 'Uninstall'
I hope it will help you.
