Copy and paste the following between the quotes into Notepad and save the file in ANSI format and name it noshortcut.reg Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer] "link"=hex:00,00,00,00 Click to expand... Double-click on this file to merge it into the registry You have to reboot for it to take effect.
