I'm using my HP laptop (Win7 Home 64-bit) with a monitor. When I turned it on this morning the image on both of the screens (laptop and monitor) is sideways. Unfortunately I am probably the culprit because of touching a key or combination of keys on the keyboard during the boot up since I had my keyboard tray extended and was sorting papers during the boot up. <sigh>

I've tried cntrl -- alt -- up directional arrow with no luck. Any ideas on how I can correct this?

Thanks,

For future reference only . You can also use " rotation " to correct the situation.......
Right click at desktop > click Graphic Options > click Rotation > pick the degree of rotation.

An image from 'Screen sideways'. A computer screen context menu showing graphics options for screen rotation degrees.
Holding down Ctrl and Alt Gr then pressing Up/Down/Left/Right arrows should do it.

Hmm...what does the GR stand for?

Nevermind...I just figured out how to correct it using Display settings in Control Panel. I guess I just needed that extra cup of coffee. ;->
