Solution
If you are unable to access the system recovery options through the typical Windows boot sequence, such as the advanced startup menu, you can try alternative methods to reach the recovery environment on Windows.

1. Using Installation Media:

  • Use a Windows installation media (USB or DVD) to access the recovery options.
  • Boot from the installation media and select your language preferences before choosing the "Repair your computer" option.
  • This should take you to the Advanced Startup Options menu where you can troubleshoot and recover your system.

2. UEFI Firmware Settings:

  • Access the UEFI firmware settings during boot. This is typically done by pressing a specific key (e.g., F2, F12, DEL)...

2. UEFI Firmware Settings:

  • Access the UEFI firmware settings during boot. This is typically done by pressing a specific key (e.g., F2, F12, DEL) during startup. The exact key depends on your device's manufacturer.
  • Once in the UEFI settings, look for an option related to recovery, repair, or boot settings that may allow you to access the recovery environment.

3. System Configuration Utility:

  • Use the System Configuration Utility (msconfig) to boot into safe mode and access other advanced options.
  • Press Win + R, type msconfig, and hit Enter.
  • Go to the Boot tab and check the "Safe boot" option under Boot Options.
  • Apply the changes and restart the system, this should boot into safe mode.

4. Windows Preinstallation Environment (WinPE):

  • Create a Windows Preinstallation Environment (WinPE) bootable USB drive.
  • Boot from the WinPE drive to access recovery tools and troubleshoot startup issues.

5. Third-Party Recovery Tools:

  • Consider using third-party recovery tools that can be booted from USB for advanced troubleshooting options. By utilizing these methods, you should be able to access the recovery options and address any boot-related issues you are experiencing on your Windows system.
