I already made this post on the actual windows support forum, but I haven’t gotten a response in half a month. I was watching YouTube on my laptop and decided to try updating to Windows 10 after failing many other times. Big mistake. I looked up many tutorials on how to update, which led me to looking at tutorials regarding the side by side configuration files because none would open, then I ended up messing around with the ’regedit‘ file/program. I had renamed the wrong file, due to the lack of explanation from a tutorial online, and all my .exe files started shutting down and deleting itself. Can someone help? If it is unfixable, can someone teach my how to reset my laptop? My laptop is a Toshiba Satellite L755-S5214 Laptop and I use Windows 7 Home Premium.
