Windows 7 import mail from vista

Hello,
I recently upgraded from Vista, during installation of Windows 7 I was prompted that Windows Mail was being discontinued but my e-mails would be saved. I had some very important e-mails that I need back, but I cant seem to find them anywhere. any help?

I wasn't aware that the upgrade was so friendly as that. Surprise. All I can suggest is you install one of the Microsoft mail services, such as Outlook or Windows Live Mail, and select the import option. But, assuming you have another Mail program, have you looked in a folder called "Windows.old"

Just download and install Live Email and it will import your settings and old email.
