Ars Technica just posted a article about the FBI stating for people & businesses to restart their routers, modems, etc. immediately to avoid a ongoing Russia hack.

Mine isn't either, but it's better to be safe than sorry.
I rebooted my modem and router anyway.
I do that once a week anyways and it was about time so I'm 2days early on it.

I'm gonna eventuall upgrade my Netgear WNDR 3700, but it's not high on my upgrade list as it still works fine and I only use wi-fi with my old pc extremely rarely.
Ryzen 7 2700X cpu upgrade, Asus ROG Crosshair VII Her0 (Wi-Fi), 32GBs. G-Skill Flare X DDR4 3200 /Sniper X DDR4 3400 (still deciding) come first.
Then maybe a new video card & 4K monitor.
Then a bigger external hdd.
Then I'll think about the router.
That'll easily be in mid-2019.
The Ryaen upgrades gonna take me until sometime in fall to finish.
A few minor extra's I need for that upgrade.
AM$ backplate/bracket kit and a new Windows 10 Pro key, as this MOBO, cpu & ram are going in my old pc to replace it's 990FX MOBO and FX 8350 cup.

I run a UTM in between my modem and router so I only bounce them if there is an issue.
