Windows 7 In Need of Analysis of BSoD Minidump

LeeCards

New Member
Hello everyone,

I'm just going to get straight to the point. I keep getting a BSoD (increasing in frequency), and I need to have my memory dump files analyzed. I know next to nothing about mini dumps, and I don't understand how to do the safe mode process of elimination. Whenever it BSoD's, the screen turns static-like, so I'm hoping it's my graphics card, because I have a new one in the mail at the moment, and graphics drivers are easy to find. Thanks.:confused: View attachment W7F_23-02-2013.zip

Your missing a service pack. Please run windows update or if your having issues try these downloads first:

Update readiness tool: Download

Windows 7 SP1: Download: Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 Service Pack 1 (KB976932) - Microsoft Download Center - Download Details

Your bios is also extremely old please update if possible:

BiosVersion = 3.15
BiosReleaseDate = 06/23/2006

I'm pretty sure this is your system but do make sure first:

http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?
os=228&lc=en&cc=us&dlc=en&sw_lang=&product=1818054#N1840

I would also consider running this:

Download Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor from Official Microsoft Download Center

Your system is so old it wasn't really designed for vista let alone windows 7. The above tool will tell if you can successfully run the os. (you may have already been running windows 7 but did you have all the drivers required and updates ect? If not this could be down to it's age)

Please update the above and then we'll go through the rest of your system as there is no point if you reach some sort of impasse.
