K so here's the story. I downloaded something and restarted my computer. It says windows isn't working correctly and asks if I'd like to format. I clicked yes but during the format my laptop shutoff from lack of power. I turned it on and it's been on the same screen for an hour now. I'm worried that I may have messed something up. Is it still formatting even tho it didn't ask this time? The screen has a loading circle but I'm not sure if it's even doing anything. Any idea how long this should take until it's normal?
Solution
If you have an installation disk or created a repair disk/usb then you could pop that in the drive/port and then change the boot order to boot from it to run the repair.
